Billy Dutton Uphill

The Billy Dutton Uphill is Squaw Valley's original "run what ya brung" uphill race - an answer to the famous Chinese Downhill of the 70's. The course climbs 2000' and over 3.2 miles from the base of KT-22 to High Camp. This fun annual event is a memorial race for Billy Dutton, a longtime friend of North Lake Tahoe and Squaw Valley, and a former employee of Squaw Valley Ski Corp. Registration begins at 7am outside of Dave's Deli or pre-register with the Auburn Ski Club. Event begins at 8am. Details: 530-583-6985
Suzi Bock Memorial

Participate in two Giant Slalom races and a fundraiser benefiting the Stanford Hospital Bone Marrow Transplant Unit and the UC Davis Alpine Ski Team. The event is in memory of Suzi Bock, a former UCD ski racer and member of the Squaw Valley National Ski Patrol. The race fee includes an all day lift ticket, racing, awards and an evening banquet with live music. Details: 530-587-7517
